Tanzania is home to a rich diversity of peoples and cultures across East Africa. While Christianity has a significant presence in the country, nearly 50 million people live among people groups still considered unreached, highlighting the continued need for Gospel witness, discipleship, and locally led churches.
That is why the local church matters so deeply. A church is more than a place to meet, it becomes a spiritual home where believers can grow, leaders can be raised up, and the hope of Christ can take root and spread throughout the surrounding community.
“In the past, Village Chiefs in Bungu A, Bungu B, and Msafiri refused permission for Gospel work. This year, God softened their hearts. Chiefs who once resisted now freely grant access for Jesus Film outreaches, discipleship, and House Church gatherings. This shift has opened new doors for ministry among the Ndengereko and is accelerating the spread of the Gospel. ”
