Ivory Coast sits along the Atlantic coast of West Africa. While the Gospel has taken root in many parts of the country, more than 7 million people still live among unreached people groups, and many communities remain in need of a clear Gospel witness and locally led churches.
That is why the local church matters so deeply. A church is more than a place to meet, it becomes a spiritual home where believers can grow, leaders can be raised up, and the hope of Christ can take root and spread throughout the surrounding community.
““Christopher was a Ligbi Muslim living in the Bouna Zongo. We met him three days after our arrival at Bouna and he shared that he was discouraged by his life’s challenges. We were looking for a place to show the Jesus Film and we came in contact with him. So we shared the Gospel and prayed with him. Three days later we went to his house and prayed with his family and two days after that he called us into his house and accepted the Lord.””
