<image:title>Home - OUR VISION</image:title>
<image:caption>Our vision is to end the injustice of people dying without having an opportunity to hear about salvation through Jesus Christ. We will do whatever it takes to empower local indigenous believers to fulfill the Great Commission in their communities and to help plant churches in the most unreached places on earth (Matthew 28:19–20). We will be known by our love for God and our love for people. Across the 10/40 Window, stretching through North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, are some of the most unreached places on earth. In many of these regions, people have little access to the Gospel, few Christian resources, and few local churches. Many also face deep poverty, spiritual darkness, and strong opposition to the name of Jesus. This is where New Covenant Missions is called to go, equipping local believers, strengthening Gospel witness, and helping plant churches where Christ is least known.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - OUR MISSION</image:title>
<image:caption>Our mission is to strategically equip, train, and send indigenous church planters and missionaries to the most unreached places in their nations, with the goal of establishing locally sustained, Kingdom-focused communities of Jesus followers across the 10/40 Window where God gives us access. We are taking the Gospel where it has never been.</image:caption>

<image:caption>• To establish a self sustained evangelical church in every village that doesn’t have one. • To fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in every community we work in. • To empower emerging leaders and see the multiplication of disciples among every generation.</image:caption>

<image:title>About us - Erik Laursen</image:title>
<image:caption>President & CEO In the spring of 2008, God radically stirred Erik’s heart to lay down “The American Dream” and pursue his dream of seeing true worship arise from every tribe in Africa. In 2011, Erik launched into ministry through a large organization in Colorado Springs where he worked directly with Christian leaders in 105+ different nations with a primary focus of overseeing offices in 37 African nations. In 2013, God led Erik to serve as President & CEO of New Covenant Missions. The experience Erik gained on the ground in so many different cultures created an ambition in his soul to mobilize the body of Christ to empower indigenous missionaries to preach the glorious news of Jesus in the darkest, most difficult and unreached areas of the world. Erik is an ordained pastor and has attained a Master of Philosophy (Intercultural Studies)</image:caption>

<image:caption>CEO & Board Member In the spring of 2008, God stirred Erik’s heart to lay down “The American Dream” and pursue his dream of seeing true worship arise from every tribe in Africa. In 2011, Erik launched into ministry through a large organization in Colorado Springs where he worked directly with Christian leaders in 105+ different nations with a primary focus of overseeing offices in 37 African nations. In 2013, God led Erik to serve as President & CEO of New Covenant Missions. The experience Erik gained on the ground in so many different cultures created an ambition in his soul to mobilize the body of Christ to empower indigenous missionaries to preach the glorious news of Jesus in the darkest, most difficult and unreached areas of the world.</image:caption>

She perceives her being part of NCM as a continuation of that mission. Professionally, Diana is the Director of MA Development Studies Program at William Carey International University. <image:title>Board of Directors - Pastor David Henderson</image:title>
<image:caption>Board Member “The unreached are unreached for a reason… it is hard, as all of the easy groups are already reached. My desire has been to focus the necessary attention to reach the unreached. I have seen first-hand the difference NCM makes in reaching an unreached people group that is very close to my heart and family. Being a part of furthering this mission in other countries and among different people groups is a high priority and privilege for me.” David has been a pastor for 33 years in different roles and settings. He planted a church to reach the unreached in Charlotte, NC, in 2000 and still leads that church today.</image:caption>

Ben served in over twenty countries and fostered a strong relationship with Christ, relying on God through many moves, combat deployments, and natural disasters. He engaged in various church roles at each duty station, including leading small groups, assisting with men’s ministry events, and was part of the audio/video teams. He participated in missionary trips as well as humanitarian aid work in multiple countries. After retiring, he pursued locksmithing and aims to run his own small business. <image:title>Widows & Orphans</image:title>
<image:caption>In Ethiopia there is no system in place to take care of the elderly widows. While many of them have homes to sleep in, most of them have no money for food or medicine, many are disabled, and some are even trying to take care of young orphans who have lost their parents! This leaves them no choice but to beg on the streets all day long. One of our indigenous church partners is doing their best to show the love of Christ to these widows by providing a shelter with food, clothing, medicines, small business trainings and social activities. However, since July 2023 our Widows Care Center has been facing a crisis. The region has been under a state of emergency due to severe conflict and instability in the Amhara Region. Furthermore, the rising cost of living has placed us in an extremely challenging situation. To provide you with an idea of the difficulties we face, essential items have seen their prices rise by unprecedented levels: In USD, the price of 100kg of Teff (cereal grain) has increased from approximately $70-90 to $230-270. A kilo of onions, previously priced at about $0.25-0.50, now stands at $1.80-2.30. A bar of soap, once costing about $0.20, has risen to $1.25. Despite these challenges, we've still been able to provide support to 67 individuals. Among them are 29 widows facing severe hardships, 34 orphans, and 4 dedicated volunteers. We urgently request your support. Your generosity will directly aid in the purchase of essential food items, as well as hygiene products for these vulnerable widows. Additionally, your contributions will help provide school supplies and medicines for the orphans who rely on our center. Every contribution, whether big or small, will make a significant difference in their lives. Please consider making a donation to our Ethiopia Widows & Orphans Project. Every dollar truly has a meaningful impact!</image:caption>

<image:title>Widows & Orphans - The Good Shepherd's House is taking care of 10 children; 6 Girls and 4 Boys; from 3 years to 17 years old.</image:title>
<image:caption>“Please pray for our Team as it takes care of youngsters at Arusha in Tanzania. Youngsters at the Good Shepherd’s House are nurtured to grow well spiritually (through Bible studies, worship & prayer programs), academically (schools, receiving school supplies, etc.), and physically (healthier through food, and sports). We are currently continuing with construction work of the Good Shepherd’s House at Ngyeku village in Arumeru, district of Arusha; This house shall be able to accommodate a total of ten children and staff; by God’s grace 10 youngsters shall be developed into being self-sustained with good health, education, and useful life skills that will also be inspired to help others. For this project to effectively serve children, we need 3 staff members to be serving in this house. If you would like to support these young people you can pray or/and give towards their food, school fees & supplies, medical needs, construction of the House, and other costs. Regular support to this ongoing work shall be highly appreciated. There is always opportunity to join hands and make a big difference in the lives of those who are in need. This project started in 2018 and has been seeking support to make it more effective so as to impact lives of children in Tanzania. The average monthly budget for this project is $1,600 USD that covers: *Education, *Health Development, *Emotion Development, *Food Requirements, and *Administration It brings joy when we see children grow spiritually by becoming part of the church family. They are also learning to be part of a community, growing in the knowledge of God’s Word and in faith. Join with us in this important work.</image:caption>

<image:caption>“When I was going to school, a brother called David asked me a question if I have ever met Christ, I said yes I know of Him. He asked whether Jesus knew me, and I went silent for a moment. He asked if I want to have a personal relationship with Him, I said Yes. He prayed with me, and I receive the Lord Jesus as the King of my life.” Salah’s ultimate wish is to see the Gberi people of South Sudan come to know the love and truth of Christ…</image:caption>

<image:caption>“I lived my life in a worldly way, doing all sorts of ungodly things. However, my perspective changed when my sister-in-law experienced a miraculous healing that I witnessed with my own eyes. From that point on, I became curious about the God who could perform such a miraculous feat. The Holy Spirit touched me and brought me to salvation.” Butrus Fabieo’s goal is to extend his efforts to the Aja people of South Sudan, with the aim of leading them towards Christ…</image:caption>
